Abstract
“On the occasion of ’21” takes a different take on 1812, through a game with time and memory. It was designed by the Bodossaki Foundation, edited by journalist Maria Katsounaki, as part of the foundation’s participation in the 1821-2021 Initiative. Celebrities from the fields of acting, history, literature, gastronomy, economics, directing, philosophy, sociology, music, theoretical computer science, sport and civil society share a personal thought, a reflection, an event, which connects the story of each with the bigger historical picture. In this talk, the speaker, referring to the Constitution of Epidaurus in 1822, argues that Greece was the only country that established a constitution without a state.
