Abstract
To commemorate the bicentenary of the 1821 Greek Revolution, the Kairios Library hosts an exhibition dedicated to the great Andros teacher and activist Theophilos Kairis. Its aim is to highlight and make more widely known the diverse contribution of Theophilos and his sister Evanthia to the struggle for independence. For this purpose, it gathered personal belongings as well as documents from the archive of the Kairis family, which are on display for the first time.
