1. Marinos Sariyannis, Research Director and Department Coordinator of Ottoman History in the Institute for Mediterranean Studies, Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas, speaks on “The Greek Revolution as an Ottoman event”.
2. Ηistorian Şükrü Ilıcak, editor of the volume “‘Those Infidel Greeks’: The Greek War of Independence through Ottoman Archival Documents”, speak on “The decade before the revolution”.
3. Leonidas Moiras, who teaches Ottoman history in the University of Athens, talk on “The transition from ‘Rum Milleti’ to ‘Yunan’: An attempt of interpretation of the use of the terms ‘Yunan’ and ‘Yunanistan’ in the years of the Greek Revolution”.
