Abstract
Cosmote TV presents the six-episode series “The Weapons of the Struggle”. Through a journey to places intertwined with the use of weapons of the time, from Ioannina and Hydra to Dimitsana and the mountains of Achea, the series maps these deadly objects, highlighting their contribution to the evolution of history. At the same time, each episode attempts to answer questions related to the image of the international “arms industry” of the period, the access of Greeks to state-of-the-art war technology, their familiarity with “modern” firearms, and the role of Greek women in the 1821 struggle.
