Abstract
With the poems, images and atmosphere of Lord Byron’s work as an endless source of inspiration, international artist Lydia Venieri presents her new exhibition, entitled “Byronic Era”, at the Olympic Municipal Art Gallery of Maroussi … The need for relaxation and freedom, the altruistic love of united peoples, the emblematic manifestation of the female being in deities, countries and ideas, created a coordinated existence that lived as a common dream, leaving in the world consciousness a vague memory of a possible terrestrial paradise. A paradise that contains the melancholy of death, as well as the grief of a sunset, the memory itself as a tribute to life, without fear but with a lot of passion. Curated by Sozita Goudouna.
