Abstract
"The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki 1821 Committee and the Library and Information Centre of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the university’s Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation, present the exhibition “Symbols of the 1821 Revolution” at the Teloglion Foundation. The exhibition includes 56 works by Peter von Hess, Karl Krazeisen, Adam Friedel, etc. (portraits of heroes in lithographs and paintings, battle scenes in coloured lithographs, portraits of Greeks and depictions of the naval battle of Navarino). The exhibits comes from the famous Trikogleio Library."
