Abstract
The Hellenic-French Association of Hania presents a peculiar photo exhibition entitled “A look at 1821 through the art of gastronomy”. Chef Iosif Petrof created images of gastronomic art (non-recipes) inspired by a verse by Stella Koutsoupaki related to the 1821 Revolution. These are 21 artistic creations photographed by Diogenis Papadopoulos, placed on a stand in a military formation. In the room, the verse is translated into 2 languages (Greek, French) on a musical background (musical composition especially for the occasion by the composer-pianist Panos Giambouldakis) will be heard on a loop. Exhibition curator: Myrto Kontomitaki.
