Abstract

"The Museum of Solomos and Eminent People of Zakynthians marks the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution (1821-2021) with anniversary activities from March 2020. More specifically, the digital exhibition-tribute “The Greek Revolution at the Solomos Museum” was held for the third year, with daily displays of the museum’s exhibits related to the struggle of 1821 on its electronic platforms and social media. The bicentennial tribute also included displays of portraits and personal items of the protagonists of the national uprising, paintings with important landmarks, documents and rare publications, which are evidence of Zakynthos’ contribution to the liberation struggle of the enslaved Greek people."
