Abstract
In the context of the bicentennial events of the Municipality of Tripoli to mark the Fall of Tripoli, the historical dance drama “The Fall of Tripoli: This is how it all started” was presented in Areos Square. The Orpheus Tripoli Choir (Conducted by Christina Athanasopoulou), the Tripoli Theatre Group, the Melody Chamber Orchestra, the Messolonghi Educational Group I.P. “Free Besieged” participated as did the dance groups of the municipality Lyceum of Greek Women of Tripoli, Dance Club of Tripoli, Centre of Greek Dance, Arcadian and Peloponnesian dance troupes, Arkadon Dromena and the Tegea Dance Association.
