Abstract
The Panhellenic Painting Competition “This is me, a quick little Evzonas” was addressed to children 4-12 years old. It was co-organized during the 2019/20 school year by the Museum of Greek Children’s Art and the Phermeli organisation, while it was held with the support of the educational department of the Museum. As part of the action, students of kindergartens and elementary schools from all over Greece were invited to capture through the creation of paintings and three-dimensional artworks, the timeless values of Hellenism symbolised by the Evzones. Submitting in parallel with their artwork the answer to the question “What do the Evzones symbolize for you? What emotions do they create in you?” the entrants engage in a valuable philosophical exercise.
