Abstract
To commemorate the anniversary of 17 March 1821, when the Greek Revolution was declared from Areopolis, the Municipality of East Mani organises a series of events. At a workshop on the theme “Mani’s contribution to the Revolution of 1821”, speakers gave papers on “Mani before and after the Revolution”, “Mani, forerunner of the Revolution of 1821: The Revolutions before the Revolution” and “If the Maniots were absent in 1821”.
