Abstract
On the occasion of the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution, the Institute of Historical Research, National Hellenic Research Foundation, in collaboration with the Faculty Artes Liberales-University of Warsaw, hosts a conference on Polish philhellenism during the struggle for independence. The conference, which will be held at the National Hellenic Research Foundation, will highlight aspects related to the participation of Polish volunteers in war events in Greece, the Polish philhellenic press, the prominence of the Greek Revolution in Polish literature and art, as well as the academic circles that connected the Greek struggle with the vision of Polish independence. The conference is under the auspices of the Embassy of the Polish Republic in Athens.
