Abstract
The Institute of Educational Policy (IEP), in collaboration with the National Library of Greece (NLG), is organising a scientific conference entitled “In search of knowledge: School textbooks in the Greek state”, with the participation of university teachers and scientists-researchers of primary and secondary education, in the context of the anniversary events of the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution.
The object of the conference will be the critical approach to the teaching manuals of school education from the foundation of the Greek State until today, with an emphasis on the subjects of the Greek language (ancient and new), literature, history, mathematics and natural sciences.
