Abstract
The Directorate of Primary Education of Kilkis, under the auspices of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Central Macedonia and the support of the Municipality of Kilkis and the Municipality of Paionia, organised an online event for the bicentenary of the 1821 Revolution. The speakers-researchers touched on issues of history and teaching of the corresponding school lesson, with an emphasis on the pre-revolutionary and revolutionary years in the region of Macedonia, the region of Kilkis in particular but also the Pontic region, as well as the heroes of the specific regions.
