Abstract
The 75th issue of the Istorika journal, entitled “Dialogue on recent histories of modern Greece”, was published by Melissa, in collaboration with the Benaki Museum. A rich tribute to the recent histories of modern Greece, which aspires to renew the dialogue on modern Greece’s historiography in the country and to provoke discussions. Dimitra Lampropoulou and Nikos Potamianos edited the issue. Sakis Gekas, Michalis Sotiropoulos, Antonis Hadjikyriacou, Dimitris Stamatopoulos, Antonis Liakos, Christos Hadziiossif, Gelina Harlaftis, Evi Karouzou, Nikos Potamianos, Christos Tsakas, Achilleas Fotakis, Christos Karampatsos and Vangelis Karamanolakis participate with critical and reflective texts. It also includes a “dossier” in memory of Seraphim Maximus, in which Popi Polemi, Kostis Karpozilos and Emilia Salvanou present their research. The issue is supplemented with book reviews of recent historical editions (Elli Droulia, Christos Triandafyllou, Efi Kanner, Andreas Lymberatos, Eugenia Bournova, Vangelis Karamanolakis).
