Abstract
The conference is dedicated to Spanish philhellenism. The individual topics presented concern the transnational dimension of the Greek Revolution, especially in the Mediterranean. In addition, issues regarding the philhellenic movement were examined, such as the reception of the Greek revolution in the public opinion of Spain, as well as in the context of the age of revolutions. Also, some presentations dealt with the Greek state’s first century of life since its foundation alongside to historiographical comparisons of the Greek and Spanish cases.
