Title
Digital Atlas and Bibliography of Philhellenism (1821-1833)
Type specialization
The Digital Atlas and the Bibliography of Philhellenism were developed as applications in the context of the Anavathmis program to offer access to particular aspects of the philhellenic movement, which contributed a great deal to the Greek Revolution, as well as to the first years of the new state, being a landmark for the history of the 19th century. The Digital Atlas and the Bibliography of Philhellenism are two complementary research tools and aim to document historical research. They are mainly addressed to the academic and educational community, aiming at providing open access to the historical past as well as the dissemination of research results. The aim of the application is its continuous feedback, in order to achieve the greatest and highest possible interconnection of the people, places and events that define the philhellenic phenomenon.
