Abstract

The temporary exhibition “Arta in 1821: Merchants, craftsmen, partners, revolutionaries” is organised by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arta to mark the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution. It includes rich surveillance material and heirlooms, everyday objects and weapons of the time, through which Arta the social and political conditions, the military personalities and the most important war events that took place in Arta are presented on the eve of the revolution.
