Abstract
The Municipality of Didymoteicho and the Historical and Cultural Association "KASTROPOLITES - Knowledge and Action" organize an online show "Kastrinos Dialogues" focusing on information about the history and culture of our country, on the occasion of the celebration of the 1821. The speaker begins with a general reference to the beginning of the revolution and the history of a united Thrace. He emphasizes that many revolutionary uprisings and movements took place in Thrace, such as in Sozopol, Didymoteicho, Makri, Samothrace. Many Thracians also fought in Southern Greece and their contribution and help proved to be important. They stood out for their heroic deeds like the Vizviki family not only in the revolution of 1821 but also in the Macedonian Struggle. The Thracians were present in all the great moments of history and the purpose of the event is to make the above known, especially to the students.
