Abstract
As part of the celebrations to mark the bicentenary of Greek Revolution, the Youth Centre of the Holy Metropolis of Lefkada and Ithaca hosts an online events entitled “Around our Great ’21”. The second event is dedicated to Ioannis Zambelios, the central figure of Lefkadan history in terms of his work and testimony. He wrote an autobiography and left many manuscripts and tragedies, which were published after his death by his son Spyridon. The speaker, through his personal research, raises various concerns about the texts while mentioning biographical data relating to Zambelios, data from his life and political activity in Lefkada as a prosecutor, judge and member of the Philiki Etairea.
