Abstract
The exhibition, which was first presented at the N. & S. Tsalapatas Rooftile and Brickworks Museum in Volos, includes replicas of the historical English, French and Russian flagships that led in the Battle of Navarino and the English frigate that transported Kapodistrias to Greece. The first steam-powered warship, the Karteria, stands out, which, under the command of the British philhellene Frank Abney Hastings, took part in many naval operations. Also, various types of ships of the period are presented, such as galleasses, sprit sails and xebecs. The replicas are the starting point of the historical narrative on the great conflicts at sea and their protagonists.
