Abstract
The deeper meaning of the contribution of the Byzantine and Christian Museum to the celebration of the bicentenary of the 1821 Greek Revolution, which is presented digitally, is to show that the revolution was by no means a coincidence, but the result of desires and the deeds of the nation for its freedom from the final fall of the Byzantine Empire to the Ottomans (1453) to the national rebirth in 1821.
