Abstract
In view of the bicentenary of 1821, a performance that deals with the broader concept of freedom as an idea, as a concept, as a symbol on a collective and individual level, in different times and places. A female body impersonates a universal symbol of freedom, inspired by Delacroix's painting and takes form through a performance in the public space of the airport. A freedom that is never constant, is always changing and adapting to each era, creating a perpetual cycle of struggles and revolutions. The aim is to create an open dialogue by asking questions about revolutions over the centuries in the name of freedom and its broader meaning today.
