Abstract

In the context of the bicentenary of the declaration of the Greek Revolution, the Byzantine and Christian Museum presents a copy of Rigas’ “Charta”, recently preserved by Ioanna Stefani and Artemis Kabouraki at the museum’s Laboratory for the Conservation of Manuscripts, Printed Matter and Paper Works of Art. This particular copy was preserved on behalf of the Archaeological Museum of Andros (Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades) and comes from the collections of the Kairios Library.
