Abstract
She raises with her jewellery the … flag of the 1821 Revolution and transports the heroism of Greece from Spain and Germany to Mexico, Miami and New York. Having the captainess Laskarina Bouboulina as a source of inspiration, Irini Arampatzidou from Thessaloniki created the brand Laskarina in 2017 , wanting not only to create jewellery, but to pay tribute to the female heroines of that time, symbols of bravery and bravery. The traditional costumes of the 19th century became her canvas and tassels, her colourful fabrics and her woven materials, but in a modern light.
