Abstract
On the occasion of the bicentenary of the 1821 Revolution, ERT broadcasts daily, from 1 January 2021, a different one-minute episode based on texts of 1821 fighters and scholars of the time, with the general title “1821 through texts of 1821”. This is, in total, 365 one-minute episodes, dedicated to the Greek Revolution, which will be broadcast daily by ERT1, ERT2, ERT3 and ERTWorld. The idea, the selection, the composition of the texts and the reading are by Maria Efthymiou, professor of history of Modern Hellenism at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
