Abstract
This event, the 7th in the online series of the Diocese of Fthiotida commemorating the Greek Revolution, provides an overview of the historical events in chronological order. The speaker begins with the Fall of Constantinople and ends with the difficult times of the Greeks under Turkish rule. In addition to the talk, the event features a delegation of children from the Sunday school who recite poems and sing songs about the misery and vision of the ancestors and the race. They also present a short theatrical event referring to the Christian faith of the heroes and fighters of 1821 but also to their desire for freedom.
