note
The discussion concerns the celebrations of the anniversaries of the 1821 Revolution by the Greek state (1871, 1921, 1971, 2021), as well as the activities of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution. The issue of the memory of the revolution in public history is also mentioned which is rather divergent from historiographical research; the problems of the study of the revolution are being discussed as well. What is more, the historiographical reception of the revolution by the left-wing is being analyzed.
