Abstract
The painter and engraver Vasiliki Iliakopoulou presents scenes from the Philiki Etaireia and the struggle, sketches, engravings of fighters and poets of the period of the 1821 Greek Revolution to emphasise the importance of the struggle of the national uprising and to transmit its messages to future generations. Vasiliki Kolipetsa participates with engravings that immortalize the chiefs and their weapons, the shipowners and their ships, known and unknown fighters who each fought with their own weapons. Many people, some known and others unknown who fought under the shadow of the Theodoros Kolokotronis on horseback for the liberation, for that blue cross of the future.
