Naples and the Greek regeneration

Three parallel exhibitions, with joint exhibits, are presented after the collaboration of the State Archive of Naples (Archivio di Stato di Napoli), the General State Archives (Greece) and the Society for Cypriot Studies (Cyprus). This is a different approach to what took place, from pre-revolutionary times to the founding of the modern Greek state and the Kapodistrian period. For the first time, anecdotal archival evidence is presented that sheds light on aspects of the national regeneration, the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, philhellenism, and the participation of Cyprus in the struggle, aiming at detecting aspects, paths and relationships that are not widely known.
