Abstract
A multi-spectacle based on the work of the composer Linos Kokotos, in Fonta Ladi’s poetry “To Potami”, was first released on an album with Sotiria Bellou. In this year’s stage presentation at the Gravas Theatre, the play is performed by singers Giorgos Merantzas and Sofia Papazoglou, accompanied by a six-member orchestra. Dimitris Kanellos participates. The orchestra is curated by Giannis Papazachariakis. It is accompanied by short texts by Greek and foreign historians and travellers, as well as narratives of fighters of 1821, as well as reports by philhellenes. A director, narrator, historical consultant and choreographer collaborate, while rare historical documents will be screened.
