Abstract
The Holy Metropolis of Zakynthos, through the Alithos centre of the Parish of Vanato and within the framework of the online lecture series marking the bicentenary of the National Uprising of 1821, hosts an online talk by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Zakynthos Dionysios IV on the subject: “The Monk of the Strofades Islands Saint Grigorios V: From Dimitsana and Strofades Monastery to the waters of the Bosporus”. Dedicated to Ecumenical Patriarch Grigorios V, the most emblematic figure of Zakynthos, the talk references his life, work and sacrifice.
