Abstract
The Holy Metropolis of Zakynthos, through the Alithos centre of the Parish of Vanato and within the framework of the online lecture series marking the bicentenary of the National Uprising of 1821, is organising an online talk on “The public sculptures of Zakynthos”. The speaker discusses the sculptures and monuments that adorn the city of Zakynthos, which reflect the society that views them and serve as arks of the national ideology.
