Abstract

The Municipality of Hydra and the Embassy of Argentina host commemorative events for the two Hydriot national heroes of Argentina, Nikolaos Kolmaniatis and Samouil Spyrou. During the event, a wreath was laid at the monument of Kolmaniatis, by the Ambassador of Argentina to Greece, María Lucía Dougherty de Sánchez, and an academic event was held on “The Hydriot navy and the life of the two Hydra national heroes of Argentina”, with two talks: “Hydriot shipping before the revolution” and “The life and action of Nikolaos Kolmaniatis”.
