Abstract
The Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology, School of Philology, Lomonosov Moscow State University organises an international academic conference titled “200 Years of the Greek Revolution (1821–2021): History, Literature, Culture”.
Conference topics:
• History of Greece
•Modern Greek Literature
•Modern Greek language
• Questions of Greek folklore and ethnolinguistics
• Russian-Greek ties in the field of language, literature, art, culture
• Questions of literary translation of Greek literature into Russian
Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, the organising committee decided to hold the conference online (via the Zoom).
The working languages of the conference are Russian, Greek, English. The duration of the presentations is 15 minutes. Five minutes’ discussion is provided after each presentation.
Participation in the conference is free. A collection of abstracts is scheduled to be published by the beginning of the conference. It is proposed to publish the full texts of the papers (in the form of a academic articles) in the journal Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology (http://kathedra-ens.ru).
