Abstract
Fourth-grade students, as part of a cultural educational programme, with the help of their teacher and their music teacher, studied folk songs and narratives about the revolutionary period and created their own visual compositions. Based on the songs “Despos”, “The dance of Zalongo”, “The little klepht”, but also the story of a violent incident experienced by Kolokotronis in his childhood, they made their own illustrated stories (comics) accompanied by short poems.
