Abstract
The National Historical Museum designed educational programs to accompany the exhibition marking the bicentenary of the 1821 Greek Revolution. School groups could choose to examine specific topics such as: the pre-revolutionary world, the Ottoman Balkans, who the fighters were, how they fought, their weapons and their use, their daily lives, the faith, science and superstitions, death in battle, women, children, captivity and exile, support from people from all over the world, newspapers of the struggle, political declarations and constitutions of the militants, the creation of the modern Greek state, the changes brought about by the revolution, the vindication or not of the fighters.
