Abstract
The first of the workshops in the second series of educational programmes “Sheet Number 1821”, addressed to the members of the Greek Libraries Network, is entitled “Pennants and flags”. The purpose of this particular workshop is to introduce children to naval revolutionary flags and their symbols, to understand the importance of signals to ships and sailors, as well as to think critically about the purpose of creating the International Code of Signals.
