Abstract
The third of the workshops in the second series of educational programs “Sheet Number 1821”, addressed to the members of the Greek Libraries Network, is entitled “Newspaper with a bow tie”. The purpose of this specific workshop is for the children to understand the process of preserving an archival document through their contact with the handwritten newspaper of the struggle named “Aitoliki”, to raise awareness about the necessity of restoring and protecting the collections of a library, as well as to think critically of the safe handling of items.
