Abstract
The bicentenary of the 1821 Greek Revolution is a historical milestone and an important cultural event for every educational and cultural institution in our country. Thus the Central Public Library of Larissa designed actions and educational programmes for children with the aim of presenting the life and work of the subjugated Greeks and highlighting certain aspects of the struggle, from the beginning to the liberation and establishment of first independent and autonomous Greek state. At the same time, the library, in collaboration with the National Library of Greece, implements educational programmes with the general title “Sheet Number [1821]”.
