Abstract

The Institute of Educational Policy, in collaboration with the National Library of Greece, is organising an academic conference entitled “In search of knowledge: School textbooks in the Greek state”, with the participation of university professors and scientists-researchers of primary and secondary education, in the context of the bicentenary events of the Greek Revolution. The subject of the conference is the critical approach to the didactic school textbooks since the foundation of the Greek state, with an emphasis on the subjects of the Greek language (ancient and new), literature, history, mathematics and natural sciences.
