Abstract
The Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Thessaly, to commemorate the bicentenary of the 1821 Revolution, organizes a conference on the theme "From 1821 to Thessaly, a road to revolution: loans and legacies". Its purpose is to highlight the participation of Thessaly in the national liberation, social, cultural, political and ecclesiastical events that shaped the modern Greek identity, in the pre-revolutionary, revolutionary and post-revolutionary period until its liberation and integration into the national core.
