Abstract
A digital tour of works by artists who lived and created the first 200 years of modern Greece presents the programme “200 years of Modern Greek Art”. Children aged 11 and 12 will be able to take a guided tour of a virtual museum learning the history of modern Greek visual arts. The aim of the programme is the transmission and dissemination of modern Greek art, the knowledge of the historical past of the country through important Greek artists. In each “tour”, which lasts as long as two teaching hours, the first part will be an oral presentation by the art historian Anna Pantelakou, with a parallel presentation of works in a digital museum space. The second part, will be an interactive artistic exercise with the class and history on the presented topic.”
