Abstract
The hashtag #Greece200years was introduced in March 2021 for the celebrations of the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution. Users present with particular enthusiasm the festivities for 1821. The Greek flag is the distinguishing feature of most posts. Users show photos of buildings lit up in the colours of the Greek flag. Users are extremely happy and express wishes from all over the world. Turkish users use this particular hashtag to talk about the genocides committed by Greeks during the Greek Revolution. Finally, the hashtag is used to show politicians from around the world sending greetings to mark the bicentenary.
