Abstract
The conference “Nationalist Movements and Philhellenism” of the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, which took place on the occasion of the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution, attempts to contribute to the debate on philhellenism and nationalist movements, especially those that emerged during the 1820s, which included the Greek struggle for independence. At the same time, it enlightens with new approaches the various aspects and manifestations of philhellenism. The volume is dedicated to the memory of Loukia Droulia (1931–2019).
