Abstract

"This selection of works by folk and naive painters gives the general public the opportunity to encounter older and younger representatives of the genre and their works. This collection includes creations of historical self-taught and anonymous artists who expressed themselves in an original way, but also academic painters with strong naive influences. Artists such as Theofilos, Zografos, Iatridis, Margaritis, Spatharis, Bost, Kagaras, Tsironis, Isaias, Christopoulos and others are presented in the same open exhibition space. "
