"The exhibition presents the relationship between the American and the Greek revolutions, and shows the portraits and the action of important American philhellenes. It also highlights the impact that the Greek Revolution had on the struggle for the abolition of slavery and human rights. The influence of Greek culture and the Athenian democracy on the political system and architecture in the USA is also covered. "
