Abstract
Talk by His Eminence Panteleimonos, Metropolitan of Veria, Naoussa and Kampania, within the framework of the series of talks on “Blood of Martyrs and Heroes” marking the bicentenary of the 1821 Greek Revolution. The 15th talk is about Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first governor of Greece. He stood out for his deep faith, education and selfless personality. He had many skills and experience and helped the revolution in his own way. He was interested in the education and the unity of the Greeks and the talks overs his work up to the moment of his assassination.
