Abstract
On the occasion of the bicentenary of the national rebirth, the Hephaestus Wien–Österreichisch/Griechischer Integrationsverein hosts an event-webinar with selected guests. The topics developed by the speakers were the following: “A history of icons, the iconography of 1821”, Naples and the Greek national rebirth” while the digital exhibition “The other side of the 1821 moon” was presented with a virtual tour, “Naples and the Greek national rebirth: The contribution of the General State Archives”, “Naples and the Greek rebirth: The contribution of the Society of Cypriot Studies”. At the end of the event, the actors Ino Matsu and Eri Bakali read literary excerpts.
