Abstract
About 6,000 children from all over Greece and Cyprus, as well as students from Greek schools abroad, responded to Hellenic Post’s call and sent us their works. Four of these paintings became stamps, while some more inspire the philatelic products, the stamp, the posters and the pamphlets of the commemorative series “Child and stamp: The 1821 Revolution through the eyes of children”. The original series is created exclusively by children and, in addition to being used as stamps, will enrich the collections of philatelists and will remain forever in the rich philatelic history.
